worcester_regular_boiler_pricesFound your ideal brand, but not so sure about which type of boiler will suit your home (and your wallet)?

Worcester Bosch boilers have been voted  Which ‘Best Buy’ for the fourth year running – so you’ve probably made the right choice.

However, they also have a vast range of different boiler types and prices, with something to suit just about any type of home and budget – which, let’s face it, can become a bit of a headache when you’re trying to find the right choice for you.

Especially if you’re on a budget, trying to find out how much your new boiler will cost can be particularly confusing (although several factors can affect the overall price you may have to pay – for more info, check out our recent blog post ‘How Much does a New Combi Boiler Cost?’).

So, today I’m going to help make your choice easier by explaining how to work out which Worcester Bosch regular gas boiler prices and types are best for your home, see below.

Why choose a regular boiler?

There’s so many different types of boilers to choose from these days, so why choose a regular boiler over a combi or system boiler?

A regular boiler is perfect if you already have one in your home, with an expansion tank in your attic. The chances are, you’ve probably been using a low pressure hot water system for years and just need a direct boiler replacement.

Opting for a regular boiler over a system (pressurised) boiler also means there’s less upheaval, especially if you have sealed floors where engineers won’t be able to easily reach existing pipe work.

Changing to a pressurised system could cause leaks, so it’s recommended that unless engineers are able to test the pipes under your floor, you should stick with a direct replacement regular gas boiler.

Below, I’m going to go over each type of regular gas boiler currently offered by Worcester Bosch.

Conclusion

So, there you have it. You should now have a better idea of the types of regular boiler you could choose from, and the prices you can expect to pay for your home.

A regular boiler is a particularly good choice if you already have one installed in your home, with an expansion tank that works via a low pressure system. You could opt to change to a pressurised system with a system boiler, however it could cause more upheaval to your home – especially if you have sealed floors.
